Our take
Similar to the red version, this black XL shredder offers the same 5.5-gallon capacity at $32. The jam-proof and dustproof features are nice additions, but I'm not sure how effective they are in practice. The plastic construction feels a bit cheap, and the large size can be awkward to store. The twist action is smooth, but shredding a full load requires significant effort. It's portable and lightweight, which is good for taking to potlucks. If you need to shred large amounts of meat occasionally, it's a decent value, but for daily use, look for something more robust.
